Average seedtime is calculated by dividing the coalesced seed time of all torrents ever added to the client for download/upload divided by the number of torrents ever added to the client.

It will increase if you keep seeding a large number of torrents for a long time. It will decrease if you download or upload a torrent and do not seed for long.
