How can I migrate torrents from uTorrent/BitTorrent to qBittorrent?

Install and open qBittorrent at least once.
Make sure to close qBittorrent by pressing Ctrl+Q.

Download the latest version of the migration tool for your platform(i.e bt2qbt_v1.18_amd64.exe for 64 bit Windows).

uTorrent users:
Run the downloaded file & hit enter.

Bittorrent users:
Navigate to your Downloads folder where the executable is located.
Open the context menu and click on Open in terminal/Open Powershell window here.
Then run this command: .\bt2qbt_v1.18_amd64.exe -s "%APPDATA%\\BitTorrent\\" and hit enter when it asks.
Make sure to replace the executable name with your version. Your command should look like this:

For both uTorrent and BitTorrent users:
Upon success, it will say "Successfully imported torrent."

Afterwards close the migration tool and open qBittorrent.
Select all torrents(Ctrl+A) > Right-click > Force recheck.

It may take some time depending on the number and size of the torrents.
Once done, select all torrents again and click on the resume button.

That's it! Now your torrents should be seeding in QBittorrent.
